Sue Gebo, MPH, RD, CD-NAuthor & Consulting Nutritionist

Sue Gebo In my 28 years experience in the field of health and nutrition, I have learned that the weight loss battle is really all about Calories. To lose weight, you must burn more calories than you are consuming. The length of time you need to follow a weight loss plan depends on the amount of weight you want to lose. The Horizon Diet is designed so that most people will lose between 7 and 10 pounds with each 28-day program. If you want to lose weight safely, effectively, and for the long term, the calories you are burning must come from a balanced diet. “Balanced diet” means a plan consisting of carbohydrates, protein and some fat. We at Horizon know that to stick to a weight loss program, you must achieve a level of success quickly and you must enjoy the process so that you can continue until you reach your weight loss goal. With the Horizon Diet we have designed a program that is balanced, simple to follow, will give you immediate results and is certainly enjoyable because we include our gourmet selections as the center piece of the program.
